Where did he get his cynical personality, was it from Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the US hater, or was it the many years he spent within his professional growth as a community organizer in the surroundings in Chicago with many cynical people that reinforced his current day feelings about the United States, and the peoples of the United States.
What got me wondering about this of course was before his election to the Presidency, I read everything I could about this man, and learned and heard much. I of course did not vote for him, because I could not counter with his far left leanings, and as a conservative I had nothing in common with his beliefs. I had no idea however that as President we would see the unvarnished proof of this overwhelming negative attitude. His press conference this past week, wherein he pointed out the profit motive of doctors in our current health care system that might perform unnecessary surgery on tonsils just to make more money, he smiled while giving his example of this in the press coverage. I thought to my self, how smug of him, how learned he felt, how superior he felt in making these comments, as if this represents the whole of medical care in this country. He begins to be seen and understood by me and others as the quick fix expert, the throw everything out and start over President. His remedy is to have government control by committee over everything.
I have heard many say that this man has learned to hate American and most of what it stands for, and certainly his wife definitely has feelings of this nature. My inner feeling was to avoid that overt charge against this man we see as President, but the ongoing evidence seems to suggest that the many who say this are supported in their convictions and I have to join with them. This will be to his harm down the road when more and more citizens of this land see this view of him emerge more and more. He clearly does not believe in the free enterprise notion that has built this country for over 200 years to what it is today. Why would he take that view and belief against this history? Perhaps it is more deeply seated, perhaps we will learn that Barack believes the heritage of American was a stolen heritage, stolen from those that he believes were unable to participate in the free enterprise, and it is his mission in life to rectify these transgressions. Perhaps this view has generated into Obama’s call for reparations and transfer of wealth to the needy is his way of rectifying the past, to punish those who built this country. He will if this is true, start a process of tearing down this apparatus of freedom, the paragon of great entitlement for all, in this false belief that this will in some way make restitution for terrible wrong doings perpetrated by our forefathers of the past. Slavery was part of our history, indeed, as in most major countries of the world, and this ended thank goodness, but how long do we punish generations after generations?
He is polished and articulate and he knows how to generate an issue. His community organizing background worked for him and he won many battles perhaps. What he fails to understand is that community organizing is not the stuff of true leadership at the level in which he is now expected to function and lead. He does not know how to switch from jamming people who he believes are wrong doers to a mode of generating cooperation and lead from strength of the apparatus he leads. He hates the apparatus therefore he will change to into something he understands or better suits his wishes. This would be the quick fix he seeks. That is perhaps what is going on and he forgot to tell those people he convinced to vote for him the real meaning of the change he was and now has begun to inflict upon this great nation.
There is a new era, one that shifts from a marvelous history to one that punishes us if we actually believe the rich and wonderful history of the United States. This explains in my mind why we are seeing such unbelievable stances to change healthcare into a government run system, that Barack Obama believes will equalize things. Healthcare is but one of many areas of government that Obama feels should be government run. Of course he fails to see that this will end the best healthcare system in the world, and put the United States on par with all other countries. We don’t want to be on par with the rest of the world Barack; you are misreading the American People. So he hears this and blames those who believe in the current political systems as uninformed and that we need to change to his concept, his methods of doing things based upon his beliefs and views. He forgets that we have a Congress to deal with, but then he has votes in both houses, and of course he can appoint progressive judges and wow he can now win. Not so Fast Bud, there are still more than half the citizens of this country that are not with you, in spite of the legislative advantage he has, but battle lines are being drawn, and things are going to heat up quickly at this point. The opposition is growing and getting the sense of things quickly, within the first six months of Obama’s tenure. The first failure he will be stung with is loss of his healthcare war. At least I hope so for the sake of this country.
The history he believes in has created this man who believes that taking away a great healthcare system so that a generated cause of those who are not insured will be insured. This of course is a red hearing that the American public is beginning to see. The Obama Administration claims of 47 Million or 50 Million uninsured are grossly over estimated as has been proven by numerous sources and those that may need insurance could be provided for within the existing system with out tearing apart this country in the process. The good common sense of most people is now recognizing this. So let’s be honest and move forward with real healthcare reform, not trashing existing and replacing with lackluster replacements that will hurt people and lower our standards to the level of the rest of the world. That is Un-American in my view. Let’s also have plenty of time to read the bills that would accomplish any future changes in the way this country works and provides for it’s citizens. This hurry and rush is nothing more than Obama’s hope to ride the honeymoon wave, which is now past. He could not get these programs passed if we take the time to read the bills and have serious dialog, not something that Barack Obama desires.
